Ann-Maree Morrison MBE was awarded her MBE for Services to Women In Business and to The Economy, with regards to ecommerce, training via the ecommerce club, in schools and in universities, and assisting with economic growth.
Ann-Maree is an Ecommerce Entrepreneur who founded the Ecommerce Club, which is streamed on Linkedin, and helps INDEZ with Ecommerce Scotland. She coaches and mentors in scaling ecommerce and omni-channel businesses at Ann-Maree.biz helping both in ecommerce and in general financial leadership skills, tips and tricks.
She is Past Head of Women20 (W20) UK Delegation, advising the G20 governments on ecommerce and entrepreneurship for economic empowerment for over 8 years, having built the Women20.org site and headed W20's technical team, implementing a website and an internal collaboration platform to help the organisation going forward.
Ann-Maree has also taken part on a number of UK Government Task Forces on Ecommerce and SMEs, and advises the Scottish Government on the Cross Party Women's Economic Empowerment Working Group as an Ambassador of Women Enterprise Scotland and as past Chair of the British Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Scotland.
She founded and ran Labels4Kids, an ecommerce labelling business, selling this with a successful exit in 2022 after 19 years as MD and Ecommerce Head. Pre Brexit Labels4Kids had sites in 7 Countries and sold to parents and businesses internationally.
She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accounting in Australia for services to the Chartered Accounting Profession and has experience as a Management Consultant, Financial Analyst for Disney Stores, Financial Head for a Kodak film industry startup, Insolvency and Investigations Senior Accountant, and as an External Auditor, with Grant Thornton and PWC. She has worked in a number of industries in the UK, US and Australia prior to starting her own business.
